I had arrived to the region unannounced, effortlessly gliding amid the vegetation in a vigilant maneuver that would thereby orchestrate my entry into the realm. My nostrils quivered, processing the various fibers that were given to wade through the zephyrs. A lady and a bastard. I say bastard loosely, he could be perfectly respectable...that would be unfortunate: bastards are far more entertaining. Now kittens, just for your educational gain I'll let you in on a secret. There's a purpose for my little visit this evening. In fact, children, there's a goal - an absolute one. She's here. Waiting for me. A quiet sneer had begun to twitch at the outermost seams of my aperture. The slender flutes of my harks had crept down to make birth in the mildly faded tassels at my zenith, piercing coal gaze afloat but not making a search in vain. There was a stag already here. Late? Am I late? No, darlings...never late. Everyone else is simply early. And this poor whelp well...he'll probably wish he was never in the vicinity. Already my generally placid appearance had begun to twist into a somewhat gnarled facade. It was a mess of animosity, divine hostility...and just a bit frightening. The darkness that shrouded my cadaverous figure was enough to hide my waltzing strides...up until the point where the time to be a haunt diminished... And that time...was now... The silence was there a moment and gone the very next, like a breath of fresh air the rapture was enough to scatter the fowl and other winged creatures in the near vicinity. Oh they were the lucky ones. A low sound began to resonate from the depths of my chassis, something akin to a menacing roar though it was swiftly stifled. I was behind her, exquisitely poised to surface at her flank. Placing an immediate, overbearing crunch of a bite on the effeminate creature's withers, my forelimbs braced themselves and I yanked her delicate form towards me with enough force to tear away the skin. And then the faint scent of blood. At that point it was time to weed out the kiddies who plagued my dominion at this point. He no longer had a place in the scene. Runt. The arch of my serpentine formed an intricate bow of absolute sinew as I stared thoughtfully at him. What to do with you. Now, take for instance that I was currently ignoring the impish dove that was now my queen. She would have a few minutes to rant...after I dealt with the rif-raf. In short, he had better turn his tail and run. Blowing the warmed particles from my nostrils, my brow quirked dangerously as I stared the opposition down for just a moment. Just long enough to decide... Oh wait...you're a child. Now, that really had nothing to do with his age. He was dawdling. And that my friend, means he was a baby...and babies...well...they may get stepped on here and there...but I wouldn't waste my breath punishing them.[/blockquote][/ul][/blockquote]

Lobes rotated upon their axis before they were allowed to sink naturally within their intended pools, their bases hidden by her forelock. Fathomless voids studied the male that had so maliciously asserted his claim upon her own being. Ah, but twas the nature of their blood. One could not be held accountable for their genetic flaws or perfections. He was calculatingly cruel, silently swift, and deceptively silent. This much could be obtained by a first impression of slight decency at the least. Her thinker revolved around one single preposterous notion: An heir born not of business, but of endearment. Perhaps, one day, such a breakthrough could be made. But for now, business was the way of the royals, and she intended to keep their rather platonic relationship as such. Free from sensual desires they were. She sought to rule over a land of grandeur, and so she would. His dominance of course would be acknowledged, as long as her own was in return. Give and take, if this was to work. She would not be walked all over by this arrogant masc, nor would she walk all over him. Chasmics took a leisurely stroll over the musculature of her newfound King, and, after a moment’s debate, she came to a decision within her mind: He would do. He would produce fine heirs, and would rule mercilessly as a king. Oh yes, he would definitely do. The damsel shifted her attention to her surroundings, causing her perfectly chiseled features to wrinkle with disdain. "What a horrid place to dwell within. Let us go home, darling." The last word was almost sneered as she put forth her request, or rather, her strong suggestion to the liege. This truly was the most dismal of places, and one couldn’t help but wish to remove themselves from it as soon as possible. It reeked of the stenches of others, some of which radiated fear, while others sheer stupidity and wishful thinking. Oh yes, such things had particular scents that could be readily identified if thought upon long enough. Dreamer churned with the thoughts of just how many of the problems of a kingdom would be simply petty and unimportant matters that would remedy themselves if only given the time to do so. However, she and Nero were a higher power and held to an almost godlike standard according the lowest inhabitants. This could definitely be handled with ease. Ghostlike apparition of the inamorata shifted about in an appraising circle around the caliph, almost as if she were surveying a foal for signs of imperfection. Battleworn and muscular, he was one that seemed to definitely hold his own in an area. His presence was one of nobility and confidence that she had seen only once before, and that was within her own reflection. Yet another sneer tainted her nigrescent features at the presently occurring thought: Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? You are, you are. Ahh, perfect. It was said with evidence of sarcasm but not unkindly...no that was reserved for the deserving and she would be somewhat insulated from said wrath. Such a lucky lady. Perhaps it was that she was so appealing to my eye, perhaps it was because my short temper had been focused on the mongrel before us. Whatever the case was she had been blessed this day, on more than one occasion. The crimson of my tresses hung over my lids briefly, though a quick toss of my skull rid my countenance of the shade that had befallen it. Feeling the urgency of departure, I turned, forehead bumping her shoulder in insistance that we be on our way before issuing a dismissive snort to the other male. Turning on my haunches, clearly assuming she would be in tow I made my way from the canyon and towards the peaks that would welcome us..[/blockquote][/ul][/blockquote]
