, and that was the end of it. Within the welkin bows I came to an abrupt halt, nostrils flaring to liberate the particles within, a gesture that pronounced a small cloud of moisture beneath my muzzle. It was the only thing that seemed animated in the place...and that was well. Tal would be soon to follow me and then we would discuss precisely what sort of trouble we'd lunged into. Seriously, the logical sorts are just....bothersome at times, and while that was a treasured part of my disposition I could hardly stand it on the occasion that...well...it bothered me. And while I stood, stock still brooding within my own mind she was probably on her way. A faint smirk cryptically wandered the seams of my aperture at the thought - she was coming. She was mine. For a moment, just one moment the scent of victory hung on the air and I lavished myself in it absentmindedly.[/blockquote][/ul][/blockquote]

A chuckle rattled her organ as she mulled these speakings over. The one she found most amusing, however, was the one about the curse. Oh how cute. She was a queen. She lived in shadows, in darkness. She didn't, however, bring a curse upon her kingdom. That would have been amusing. And most definitely deserved. Her father had never deserved anything but the worst. The fiendish liege had ruled with noting but a cruel hand. Unnervingly cruel and heartless, her sire had been. Her mother had at least a shred of common decency, no matter how cold natured she had been. Thank god, she had recieved her maternal's genetic. Tones came at a hiss. "Ah, Nero. This place is satisfactory, I suppose. What do you think?" Plume kissed her hocks, malice tainting her motions as she rid her hide of the airborne pestulants that hovered in a mass about the taverns. Fulcrums toiled at the loam, a sneer winding upon her devastatingly perfect features. Perhaps their relationship would become something more than platonic in the future. Maybe even in the near future. Only time would tell, she supposed. Dentures tugged at his threads lightly, an attention grabbing gesture. Sickeningly sweet sopranos seeped from her vox, "See the way they cower at our presence. Ah, bliss." Thorax heaved a sigh of something akin to contentment, before the damsel moved away from the titan to explore what was meant to be her newest form of amusement.
